A very wet… Doctor of Love & Kindness
There is a cost to everything.
…A cost to every action and inaction.This morn I’m reminded of how I got to my 18th year in business as Doc & I had a arduous training walk. Just like this walk, I’ve held the mantra of “No Short Cuts” and have kept myself accountable for every action or inaction I’ve taken in business.
…From onset to clean-up Doc’s wall was about 2 hours and included: Over 6k steps, help from his paw girlfriend Cassie and her person….then many #Choices to turn and correct “pulling” on what should have been a 30 minute walk…then the reward of “fetch” in the sunny, but wet park!
Cesar Milan, the dog whisperer, says dogs need these 3 things in the following order: Exercise, Discipline, Affection.
If all I do is love on Doc and take short cuts on #Discipline, the cost of an unruly dog.
That said, the cost of staying the course?
-A wet (but happy) pup
-Longer clean-up
-Mama’s wet/cold feet
-Tired & hungry mama
-Slower start to my work day…with the same workload!

But there are benefits too!

-Guess who is sound asleep already?
-Peace to online shop for a client needing a special outfit for an “awards” photoshoot
-An obedient pup (for today!)
-Walking like a proud mama

Ps:
Two weeks away I gave away a shirt to a client, then last week a client gave me this cute Zella jacket during her closet audit! (The high contrasting stripes were “wearing” her and not so flattering…instead of the donate pile she gave it to lucky, lucky me!)
