Sunday was a day to refresh and rejuvenate my mind, body, and soul – and to unplug from social media.
Loved connecting with family, friends, and new folks along the journey.
…A question kept resurfacing for reflection , “Now that it’s been a while, do you have any regrets?”
This 4th grader who was so eager to meet Doctor Prescott (PhD in Love & Kindness) last week while on a walk, hopped out of his patio chair as we were walking by.
As he was steadily making his way toward us -without words but with focused determination -we thought to turn in to meet him.
Kind, enthusiastic, curious, pensive -and a dog lover, after about 10 minutes of chatting, he learned I didn’t even “like dogs” much before getting Doc four months ago.
Just before leaving he said, “So let me ask you something. Now that you have had him a while, do you have any regrets?”
Precocious and wise beyond his years, his question has played over in my mind & in conversation with others across many categories in life, “Do you have any regrets?”
I took inventory.
I used to have a ton. Now I live intentionally and try to do so in such a way to not have many.
What about you?
How can you live a fulfilling & peaceful life so that you can enthusiastically say, “NO! I have no regrets!”
