• Why did you enlist Uniquely Savvy’s support?
  I had never worked in a super business professional field and I didn’t know where to begin in purchasing business clothes. I needed help getting my staple pieces that would last me in my career over the next few years. Uniquely Savvy was a great opportunity to have advice on exactly what works for me.

• What goals did you desire to achieve?
  I wanted to feel confident in whatever I bought. I will be wearing this to interviews and networking events and my first impression is very important. I wanted to be taken seriously and look professional like I knew what I was doing, but also not too serious and be able to show my personality through a black or navy suit.

• How has life/business transformed during and #AFTER working with Uniquely Savvy?I went to a networking event about a week after shopping with Kim, and although I was nervous to meet with so many influential individuals, I felt confident when talking about my career aspirations and my skills. The event was business casual, which is always a hard dress code when you are trying to impress people in a professional way, but Kim found an AWESOME dress for me that was perfect for the event. I felt great on the inside and out.

• Specific Uniquely Savvy services?
  First, we met and discussed my style, my preferences, goals from the shopping etc. The shopping took about 3 hours, but we got a lot done in that time. Kim measured me and taught me what types of pieces would work best on my body, and most importantly, tips for pieces to wear in the professional business world. Kim helped me purchase all the staples needed for a long-lasting business wardrobe and I feel great about everything I bought. I would 100% recommend this service to others, specifically young women and men in my position. Yes, I knew what business clothes were supposed to look like, but I had never really shopped for them. I think this service is a great opportunity for young professionals to learn about what clothes can make you feel more confident every day at work.

• What’s next for you?
  I graduated from the University of Washington this past spring and am interviewing at public accounting firms in hopes of scoring a position that fits my personality and long-term career aspirations.

• Share a fun or interesting fact about you, we know you have one!
  I am taking the CPA exam starting in October and will hopefully be a CPA in the next year :-)!

• Tell us something about working with Coach Kim that doesn’t meet the eye!
  Kim was an amazing teacher. I know none of the real terms regarding fashion and textures and fabrics, etc. and each time I tried to describe something, she knew exactly what I was talking about. It was great to work with her!
